Privacy Policy

Who we are
usbropen.com is operated by TSF INC, doing business as Technology Solutions, for the annual Bropen golf trip. This policy covers usbropen.com. It does not cover golf.usbropen.com, an older separate site.
What we collect
- Roster information. Name, email address, phone number, whether you are a golfer, non-golfer or spouse or guest, your partner pairing, and room. Directors enter most of this. You may add a profile photo.
- Sign-in information. A sign-in name and a password. We store member passwords only as a salted hash. A member's signed-in session is stored only as a hash of a random token. If you sign in with Google, we keep your Google account identifier, and the email address and name Google gives us, until they are removed, so an organizer can match your account to your membership. We do not store Google access tokens and do not receive your contacts or files.
- Trip information. Itineraries, notices, activities, RSVPs and menu choices, lodging and room assignments, flights (airline, flight number, dates, seat), rides, rounds, scores, handicap index, standings and, for directors only, GHIN numbers and settle-up amounts.
- Club Room. Messages (up to 2,000 characters), reactions and photos you post.
- Notification settings and records. Your email and SMS preferences, any SMS consent, and a record of notices we sent you.
- Security records. To limit abuse we keep a keyed hash derived from your network address, not the address itself. For director invitations, sign-in links and password resets we also keep the browser's user agent text and, for invitations, the invitee's email address.
How we use it
To run the trip site: show you your plans and the field, record and display scores, let members chat, send notices you have asked for, keep accounts secure and prevent abuse. We do not use it for advertising and the site loads no advertising or analytics scripts.
Who can see it
- Directors can see everything for their trips, including email addresses and phone numbers. The claims review page shows claim records from every organisation on the site.
- Other members of your trip can see names, the roster, partner pairings, profile photos, scores and results, handicap indexes, flights and rides, room assignments, lodging details and Club Room posts. They cannot see your email address or phone number.
- Anyone with a personal link (your portal link) can see that portal. Anyone with a scoring link can see the names and scores for that round and enter scores. Treat links like passwords. They do not expire, but a director can turn one off.
- The public can see only the sign-in pages, the history page, the text-message consent page and these legal pages. Anyone who holds a trip's code can also see the names on that trip's roster on the join page.
- Club Room posts stay visible to the trip's members, including after the trip ends.
Service providers
We use these providers to run the site. Each receives only what its job needs:

Some pages show pictures from addresses a director pasted in, and your browser contacts those sites to load them. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Cookies and browser storage
We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to complete sign-in steps. A member sign-in lasts 30 days, and a director sign-in can last up to 400 days. The Club Room stores a small marker in your browser's local storage to remember what you have read. We use no advertising cookies.
How long we keep information
We keep trip records, including past trips, so that the history stays available to members. We automatically delete two kinds of short-lived technical records. The temporary data used when you sign in with Google or another sign-in service is deleted within about 20 minutes, and the records we use to limit repeated sign-in attempts are deleted within about a day. We keep other information until it is removed, for example when you ask us to, as described in the section below on correcting or removing information. Hiding a message or photo from view does not erase it.
Your choices and requests
- You can turn email and text notices on or off in your portal, and remove your own profile photo.
- To ask us to correct or remove your information, or to ask what we hold about you, email contact@techsolhq.com. We will review each request and respond. Some information, such as scores that are part of a trip's results, may need to stay.
Photos and location information
A photo you post to the Club Room may carry information your phone embeds, such as where it was taken, and other trip members can view the photo. Check your phone's camera settings if you do not want to share location.
Security
The site uses HTTPS. Member passwords and recovery codes are stored as hashes, and member session tokens are stored only as hashes. Director sign-in is handled by Supabase, our authentication provider. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your sign-in and links private.
Children
The site is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. If a change is significant we will tell members by email.
